This ground-breaking extension is in Los Angeles, California and was designed by local architectural practice, NMDA. The clients were both heavily involved in the creative industries – he worked in film and she was a graphic designer. It meant they were very open to new ideas and were inspired to commission NMDA after a visit to one of their other projects – the LA Eyeworks (inset).
